Wildcats remain undefeated on the season

VILLANOVA, Pa. - The Villanova men's tennis defeated the Xavier Musketeers on Friday night 4-3 at the Bryn Mawr Racquet Club. The Wildcats improve to 4-0 on the season.

Head coach Bradley Adams on the win, "This was an instant classic for the boys. They had their best doubles performance of the year today and it payed off in the end with an unbelievably tight match. Our guys are playing with great confidence and are putting in quality practices to make sure they get results during matches. I can't give enough credit to freshman Charles Schuls who clinched the match playing 5 singles. Schuls showed a ton of heart and grit saving multiple match points to clinch the match in the third set with a breaker score of (9-7)."

The Wildcats will return to action on February 15th as they travel to Philadelphia to take on Drexel.
