Clearwater, Fl. – Wisconsin jumped out to an early lead and didn't look back in their 13-1 win over Villanova.
The Badgers got on the board early with a three-run home run in the first and continued to extend their lead throughout the game.
Becky Ducar got the Wildcats on the board in the fifth with an RBI double.
Angela Giampolo,
Paige Rauch,
Julia DaCosta, and
Caroline Jones also added in a hit of their own, but it was not enough to hang with Wisconsin.
Rauch improved her hitting streak to nine games with a single in the third inning.
Villanova finishes the USF Tournament with a 4-1 record and will be back in action Friday in Maryland against Rhode Island at 5:30 P.M.
