IRVINE, Calif. – The Villanova men's tennis fell to University of California Irvine 6-1 on Tuesday morning. With the win UC Irvine improves to 6-3 while Villanova drops to 8-5.
UC Irvine got the doubles point by winning on courts no. 2 and no. 3. Villanova's doubles team of Tyler Roth and Thomas Dodson won on court no. 1 winning 7-5.
In singles play the only match Villanova won was on court no. 2 where Tyler Roth won 7-6, 3-6, 10-7.
The Wildcats final match of their California trip is on Friday March 8th against University of California Riverside at 10:00 a.m. PST
