Glenside, Pa. - Wildcat Golf won the Explorer Invitational and freshman Matt Davis won a share of medal honors with Jeffrey Cunningham of Drexel.

Villanova picked up their first tournament win of the season. They led after round one, and carried the momentum winning round two as well. They finished with a score of +24, while Drexel finished at +27, Temple ended at +31, La Salle completed the tournament at +40, Navy finished at +44, while Navy B finished at +47, Temple B ended at +66, and Niagara wrapped up at +89.

Davis led the way for the Wildcats with a score of +4, Mark Benevento finished at +5, Connor Daly finished at +8, Danny Dougherty ended at +9, and Reb Banas finished at +16.

The Cats will ride their team championship into the BIG EAST Tournament which will begin on April 26th.
