New York, N.Y.- Sophomore goalkeeper
Hensley Hancuff was named BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week following a 1-0-1 opening weekend for the Wildcats.
Hancuff registered a shutout victory over 24th-ranked LSU on Thursday. The sophomore made five saves against the Tigers, playing all 90 minutes. In Sunday's 1-1 double-overtime draw with Saint Joseph's, Hancuff made two saves to pick up the draw. For the week she posted an .875 save percentage and 0.45 goals against average, both tops among BIG EAST keepers.
Villanova will head to the state of Oregon for two games over Labor Day weekend. First the Wildcats will first take on Oregon State on Friday, August 30
th at 8:00 P.M. ET and on Sunday, September 1
st will take on the Oregon Ducks at 8:00 P.M. ET.
