VILLANOVA, PA  --  Originally scheduled to play at Manhattan College on Saturday, Nov. 28, the Villanova women's basketball team will now travel to Quinnipiac University on Sunday, Nov. 29, for a game at the People's United Center. Tip-off is set for 3 p.m.
 
Manhattan women's basketball has entered a pause for all team activities following a positive COVID-19 test result among one of the team's Tier One group, which consists of student-athletes, coaches and support staff. The positive test result was provided during Manhattan Athletics' regular COVID-19 surveillance testing, which is conducted three times each week, as recommended by the NCAA basketball guidelines. 
 
Villanova is coming off a 70-37 home win over Rider in the season opener on Wednesday afternoon. Quinnipiac also opened the 2020-21 season on Wednesday with a 71-65 home victory over the Providence College Friars.
