Villanova will complete a three-game road stretch with a game at Georgetown on Thursday, Dec. 4. The Wildcats enter play with a 6-2 overall record, while Georgetown is 5-2 on the year. This will be the BIG EAST Conference opener for both teams. Tip-off at McDonough Arena is set for 7 p.m.
The Wildcats and Hoyas will be meeting for the 78th time on Thursday evening in Washington, DC. Villanova leads the all-time series by a 53-24 count and have won 22 of the last 26 against the Hoyas, including 11 wins in a row.  Â
Villanova enters play at Georgetown riding a four-game winning streak. The streak includes wins over James Madison (84-73), Temple (88-58), La Sallle (66-54) and West Virginia (81-59).
The Wildcats are coming off their best offensive performance of the season in Monday's 81-59 win over No. 25 West Virginia. The season-high of 81 points came on 33-of-63 shooting from the field (52.4%), an 8-of-20 effort from three-point range (40.0%) and a 7-of-9 effort from the foul line (77.8%). The 33 field goals and 52.4 percent shooting are season-high efforts for the Wildcats.
Forward
Brynn McCurry has been outstanding for the Wildcats over the last four games. In the four contests versus James Madison, Temple, La Salle and West Virginia, McCurry has scored 70 points (17.5 ppg. during the stretch) on 26-of-41 shooting (.634) to go with 29 rebounds and 15 assists. McCurry currently ranks second on the team in scoring at 11.0 points per game and she leads the way in rebounding at 5.9 per game.
Sophomore
Jasmine Bascoe leads the Wildcats in scoring with a 17.6 points per game average, while McCurry is the team's top rebounder. Freshman
Kennedy Henry has a team-high 17 steals and a team-best 13 blocks.
Villanova returns to the Finneran Pavilion on Sunday to take on Saint Joseph's in the Big 5 championship game. Tip-off is set for 4:30 p.m.
