Villanova returns home on Saturday afternoon to play host to the Temple Owls in a Philadelphia Big 5 contest. The Wildcats enter play with a 2-2 overall record and a 2-0 Big 5 mark, while Temple is 2-3 overall. This will be Temple's first Big 5 game of the season. Tip-off at the Finneran Pavilion is set for 2 p.m.

Saturday's game against Temple will be the third straight Philadelphia Big 5 game for Villanova. After earning a 55-39 win at Saint Joseph's on Saturday, Nov. 20, the Wildcats registered a 66-63 victory at Penn on Monday, Nov. 22. The fourth and final City Series game will be on Dec. 21 at La Salle.Â

The Wildcats enter play versus Temple with an all-time Big Five record of 124-40 (.756). The 124 wins are the most victories by any Big Five women's program. Saint Joseph's is second with 111 Big Five wins. Villanova is 35-6 (.853) in its last 41 games versus Philadelphia Big Five competition.

Sophomore forward
Lior Garzon is coming off back-to-back 20-point games. After scoring a career-high 26 points in a win at Saint Joseph's on Nov. 20, Garzon tallied a team-high 21 points in a 66-63 victory at Penn on Nov. 22. In the two games, she was a combined 15-of-33 (.454) from the field and 5-of-14 (.357) from three-point range. After four games, Garzon leads the Wildcats in both scoring at 17.0 points per game and three-point field goals made with 11.

Rookie guard
Lucy Olsen had a breakout game in Monday's win at Penn. In 34 minutes of action, Olsen had a season-high 20 points to go with three rebounds, two blocks, one assist and one steal. The 20 points came on 8-of-14 shooting from the field and a 4-of-5 effort from three-point range. Olsen currently ranks fourth on the team in scoring at 9.3 points per game.

The Wildcats will stay at home on Wednesday, Dec. 1, to play the Lehigh Mountain Hawks.   Game time is set for 7 p.m.
