POWELLS POINT, N.C. – The Villanova golf team completed three rounds at the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate on Tuesday, tying for 10th out of 16 teams.
The Wildcats combined for 886 strokes (34-over) across the three days and finished two strokes ahead of 12th place North Dakota. VU's scores improved every round throughout the tournament, going from 302 to 293 to 291.
Ryan Pamer (T16) once again led the 'Cats, shooting a three-over across the three days while twice carding a 71 for even-par. The freshman scored a two-under on par-3s, which tied for best in the field.
Peter Weaver earned T18 after totaling a four-over, with his three rounds being 72, 71 and 74 on the 71-par course.
Jason Lohwater (T27, 75-74-70) ended with the lowest VU round, completing the third round at one-under. The graduate transfer recorded the third highest score on par-4s and par-5s throughout the event.
Kyle Kinnane wrapped up the competition in 75th place after putting up 81-80-76. Joshua Lavely carded 243 over the three rounds, ending in 82nd.
