Wildcats End 2022 With 2nd Place Finish At City 6

Pamer, Weaver and Lohwater all earn top-10 finishes at four-team event

HADDONFIELD, N.J. – Villanova golf completed its 2022 schedule on Sunday, taking second place in the City 6 Invitational hosted at Tavistock Country Club.

VU totaled a team score of ten-over, out-shooting St. Joe's by seven strokes to earn runner-up honors in the team event.

Ryan Pamer and Peter Weaver led the Wildcats, each with a one-over to tie for seventh place on the leaderboard. Pamer shot a two-under on the front nine, including three birdies and just one hole over-par. Weaver recorded four birdies throughout his round, carding a 35 on the back nine to move him into a tie with Pamer.

Jason Lohwater put up his first top-10 finish of the year, earning 10th place after a two-over performance. The New York native shot even-par on holes 10 through 18 to finish with a 74 on the day.

Kyle Kinnane had the next best performance for VU, ending at T17 with a six-over. Joshua Lavely, who competed individually, shot a nine-over at Tavistock, good for T24.

Vimal Alokam (10-over, T27) and Matt Minerva (14-over, 35th) rounded out the VU lineup at the event.
