Below are career highlights for each of the Varsity Club Hall of Fame inductees.
Michelle Biehl (Women's Soccer, Class of 2005)
Michelle Biehl is one of six players in school history to earn All-American honors and is the only Villanova player ever to be a two-time All-American. The defender started in all 88 of her appearances on the pitch to be the program's career record holder for games started while tying for the fourth-most games played. During her career, the Wildcat defense gave up just 5.9 shots on goal per game and posted 48 shutouts in 90 games. The three-time All-BIG EAST second team selection helped lead the women's soccer team to the NCAA Tournament in all four years on the Main Line. She was a part of a 2003 squad that won the program's first BIG EAST title before advancing to the NCAA Sweet 16.
Sara Carlson (Softball, Class of 2002)
Playing at both catcher and in the outfield, Sara Carlson was the first All-American in Villanova Softball history and is still just one of two All-Americans the program has produced. She became the first of three Wildcats in team history to hit three doubles in a game. The four-time NGCA Northeast All-Region selection still leads the program for intentional walks in both a career and season, while sitting in the top-five in both distinctions for batting average (3rd/2nd), slugging percentage (3rd/2nd), on-base percentage (4th/4th), OPS (4th/2nd) and doubles (4th/T-4th). A .382 hitter as a Wildcat with 148 RBI and a .600 career slugging percentage, she helped Villanova reach the championship game of the BIG EAST Tournament in 2003 and was named the Academic All-American of the Year out of all Division I student-athletes as a sophomore during the 2000-01 campaign.
Meghan Doyle (Women's Lacrosse, Class of 1999)
The second-highest goal scorer in program history, Meghan Doyle is the only player in program history to earn All-American honors. She garnered second team accolades as both a junior and senior. During those two seasons, Doyle was an offensive force for the Wildcats, owning two of the three highest-scoring seasons in Villanova history. In 1996, she found the back of the net 51 times with 10 assists for a 61-point year. She smashed the net 63 times in 1999, tacking on 10 assists for 73 points, giving her the single season records for both goals and points. The attacker is second in team history with 138 career goals while sitting third with 165 career points.
Randy Foye (Men's Basketball, Class of 2006)
The 2005-06 BIG EAST and USBWA District 1 Player of the Year, Randy Foye closed his career with the Wildcats as the ninth-highest career scorer with 1,966 points while grabbing the sixth-most steals at 198. Following his time on the Main Line, he was selected by the Boston Celtics with the seventh pick in the 2006 NBA Draft. The Wildcats made it to the NCAA Tournament twice in the guard's career, reaching the Sweet 16 in 2005 before going to the Elite 8 in 2006. That 2005-06 team was the first Villanova team ever to earn a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament. He started in 128 of his 131 appearances with the Wildcats, helping the team to an 85-46 showing in his career.
Courtney Mix (Women's Basketball, Class of 2004)
Courtney Mix's time at Villanova was marked by four consecutive trips to the NCAA Tournament for women's basketball teams that accounted for six of the program's nine NCAA Tournament wins. Villanova reached the Elite 8 during her junior campaign in 2002-03. That same year, the Wildcats won the BIG EAST title, defeating Connecticut in the championship game to end the Huskies' then-record 70-game winning streak. A two-time All-BIG EAST honoree, Mix ranks third in team history for career rebounds with 869 while sitting fifth for both blocked shots (128) and free throws made (294).
Marina Muncan (Women's Track & Field/Cross Country, Class of 2006)
Marina Muncan earned nine All-American performances at Villanova before going on to compete for Serbia in the 1500 Meters at the 2012 London Olympics. She was a three-time All-American for both cross country and outdoor 1500 Meters, while adding two accolades for the indoor Distance Medley Relay and one for the indoor Mile. The 2006 season brought USTFCCCA Mid-Atlantic Region Women's Track Athlete of the Year honors for the distance runner. She earned All-Mid Atlantic Region status in cross country three times in her career while winning 11 BIG EAST titles, four of those in the 4x800 Meter Relay, and was an All-BIG EAST performer 17 times.
Louie Quintana (Men's Track & Field/Cross Country, Class of 1995)
A seven-time All-American and a seven-time BIG EAST champion during his collegiate career, Louie Quintana starred on both the track and in cross country for Villanova. He had 15 All-BIG EAST efforts and was a six-time IC4A champion, including four titles in track & field to go along with a pair of NCAA District II cross country championships. Quintana was a part of two Penn Relays Championship of America relay teams, including the 4x800 Meter Relay in 1992 and the 4x1500 Meter Relay in 1993. On May 23, 1993, he ran the metric equivalent of a sub-four minute mile when he was clocked in 3:40.37 in the 1500 meters.
Murle Sango (Football, Class of 2001)
Murle Sango earned All-East and Atlantic 10 All-Conference honors in his sophomore and senior years on the Main Line. The wide receiver is the school's single season record holder with 98 receptions as a junior in 1999. He recorded one of six seasons in school history with at least 1,000 receiving yards, logging 1,064 as a sophomore in 1999 when he averaged 10.9 yards on 98 receptions. He is second in career receptions at 236 while recording the fourth-most receiving yards with 2,685. He is also sixth with 4,017 all-purpose yards and is tied for sixth with 20 receiving touchdowns.
