VILLANOVA, Pa.—Ahead of the first home and BIG EAST games of the season this weekend Villanova has adjusted its schedule for a three-game series against Butler which begins on Friday afternoon. Due to impending weather during the weekend, the teams will play a doubleheader on Friday, March 11 beginning at 1 p.m. at the Villanova Softball Complex. The second game of the day will begin approximately 30 minutes after the first game, although no earlier than 3 p.m.
 
The schedule change to a doubleheader on Friday will allow the teams to use either Saturday OR Sunday to play the final game of the weekend. Further adjustments to the schedule will be made as they are available. Friday's doubleheader will mark the first home games of the season for the Wildcats at the newly renovated Villanova Softball Complex, as well as the BIG EAST opener for both Villanova and the Bulldogs as conference action gets underway this weekend.
 
Villanova Athletics has announced an agreement with leading sports streaming service FloSports to become the home of Nova Nation All-Access on FloSports for the 2021-22 academic year. All events produced by Villanova Athletics will be streamed on the digital network. FloSports offers both monthly and annual subscriptions as part of the agreement. Villanova students, faculty and staff can sign up with their ".edu" email to receive a discount. Fans can also receive a discounted rate by using a dedicated purchase link for all BIG EAST member schools.
