VILLANOVA, Pa. - The Villanova Wildcats are set to celebrate a landmark season in the 102 year history of Villanova Basketball Thursday night at Finneran Pavilion with the return of an in-person Awards Ceremony.
"This is one of our favorite events of the year, a night for the Nova Nation to join us in celebrating the amazing history of Villanova Basketball," stated head coach
Jay Wright.
Villanova completed a 30-8 season on April 2 at the NCAA Final Four in New Orleans. This was the seventh NCAA Final Four appearance in program history and third since 2016. The 'Cats were ranked in the NCAA Top 25 every week of the 2021-22 regular season and added the BIG EAST Tournament championship at Madison Square Garden in New York. VU's streak of 59 consecutive weeks ranked in the Associated Press Top 25 is second in the country in that span (the current Nova streak began in the 2018-19 season).
