HAMILTON, N.Y. – The Villanova men's golf team completed the Alex Lagowitz Memorial tied for 4th out of 14 teams in the field.
The Wildcats shot a combined +8 on the weekend, which tied Lafayette for the fourth best team performance of the event.
Freshman Ryan Pamer had an impressive college debut, finishing the event second among all golfers with a -6. Pamer's third round score of 67 tied for the lowest round by this year's participants.
Peter Weaver completed the event at T-9th on the leaderboard. With back-to-back two-under rounds on day one, the junior finished at -1 for the weekend and was tied third for most birdies of the field.
Vimal Alokam ended third on the 'Cats at T-55th, with his performance including an eagle on the first day of action.
Jason Lohwater (T-69th), Joshua Lavely (T-77th) and Kyle Kinnane (T-84th) all competed in their first events as Villanova Wildcats
UP NEXT: The Wildcats will head back to the Empire State for a weekend in Farmingdale, taking part in The Doc Gimmler hosted by St. John's.
