VILLANOVA, Pa. – With back-to-back wins in head-to-head action this season, Villanova Women's Swimming and Diving looks to build onto that streak as it heads to Rutgers on Saturday. The meet is set to begin at noon from the Rutgers Aquatic Center in Piscataway, N.J.
Villanova (2-3) started the second half of the season with a commanding 161-139 win over Richmond on Jan. 13 that saw three Wildcats combine for six of the team's 10 wins on the day. BIG EAST Female Athlete of the Week
Claire Feick swept the diving portion of the day, winning both the 1- and 3-meter dives with scores of 264.68 and 252.60, respectively. That 3-meter score is now a BIG EAST season-best mark. She is the first BIG EAST diver this season to score above 50 on a single dive (50.40). Those wins brought her to five wins total on the year.

Kaitlin Gravell logged a pair of swimming wins. Pastorek was victorious in the 100 Back (56.73) and 200 Back (2:01.93), marking her third sweep in the Backstroke this season. Gravell touched first in the 1000 Free (10:16.13) and the 400 IM (4:22.06).
This is the 17
th meeting with Rutgers (2-2) in 18 years with the only season without a meeting in that span being the abbreviated 2020-21 season. Villanova has gone 9-7 against the Scarlet Knights since 2005, winning each of the last six meetings.
