APALACHIN, N.Y.— The Villanova men's golf team end day one in third place of the Matthews Auto Collegiate.
The Wildcats shot a combined score of 287 which is four strokes behind the leader Lehigh (283).
Peter Weaver continues to play well as he is in a tie for second place shooting a four under 68. He trails the leader Brandon Cooper from Binghamton by one stroke.
Ryan Pamer finishes just a few strokes behind Weaver with a two under 70. He sits in a tie for seventh place.
PJ O'Rourke finishes day one with a two over 74.
Jonathan Elkins and
Joshua Lavely finish one stroke behind O'Rourke with a score of three over (75).
Vimal Alokam shines in the individual positions with an even score of 72.
