PALM CITY, Fla. – Villanova golf finished two rounds at the Advance Golf Partners Collegiate on Monday afternoon, sitting tied for 15th in the 19-team field with one day to play.

The 'Cats shot a combined 607 over the two beginning rounds and rank eighth in the field with 108 total pars.

Team captain Peter Weaver had a dominant round one, ending tied for fifth place with a one-under. The 2022 Second Team All-BIG EAST selection wrapped up his 36 holes at three-over, good for T-19th in the field.

Ryan Pamer started his spring with a three-over in round one, then improved by two strokes in the second 18 holes to tie for 26th heading into day three. Pamer is tied for 11th in the field in par-4 scoring, and 10th on par-5s.

Jonathan Elkins, who missed the fall season with an injury, impressed in round two, tying for the team best-round of the day with a one-over to follow up his seven-over on Sunday. The junior is tied for seventh out of the 100-plus player leaderboard in par-3s, and stands 55th overall.

Vimal Alokam finished the first day tied for 66th place after a six-over, and ranks 105th in the field after 36 holes. Jason Lohwater rounds out the Villanova lineup with a 23-over after the opening two rounds.

Competing individually for the Wildcats are Kyle Kinnane and Joshua Lavely.

After day one, Kinnane was tied for 56th with a five-over. Round two saw Kinnane hit an eagle, one of eight players at the event to accomplish the feat, and the graduate student ranks in 85th place with one round remaining.

After shooting an 11-over on Sunday, Lavely improved on the second day by seven strokes, bringing his total to a 15-over.

The Wildcats have one day remaining to improve their place in the 19-team field, with round three having a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
