SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. – The Villanova golf team finished the Ross Collegiate Classic on Tuesday afternoon, earning 13th out of 18 teams with a 300-295-303 over three rounds at Mid Pines Golf Club.
Peter Weaver finished atop the Villanova lineup, shooting even par over the two-day event to earn T-11th on the overall leaderboard. The team captain carded a VU-best 68 in the second round, sandwiched by a one-over in the first round and a three-over on the final day to end up just outside the top 10.
Ryan Pamer (71-80-71) responded from a difficult second round with a one-under in the final portion of the competition for a two-day total of six-over, shooting a three-under on holes one through nine in his last round.
Jonathan Elkins followed up his career-best start to the spring with another strong performance, totaling a 228 with a 79-72-77 at Mid Pines.
Luke Alexander shot a 19-over across the two days, tying for 79th in the field with a best round of 75 that included an eagle on tee five.
Vimal Alokam finished with a 13-over in the two rounds in which he competed, shooting a five-over in the first round and an eight-over in the third set of holes after receiving a disqualification in the second go-around.

Jason Lohwater tied for 10th on the individual leaderboard at Pine Needles GC down the road, shooting a 15-over 157 in his two rounds.
UP NEXT: The Wildcats will head back towards the south for their next competition, traveling to Williamsburg, Virginia, for the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate hosted by William & Mary.
