Golf Finishes in Eighth Place at the Ryan T. Lee Memorial

KENSINGTON, CT – The Villanova men's golf team finishes the Ryan T. Lee Memorial in eighth place.

The Wildcats shot a combined plus 14 for the tournament, improving from day one to two.  As a team they shot three under in round two.

Peter Weaver finishes the weekend at a tie for third place shooting five under.  Weaver improved in round two by three strokes shooting a 67 (-4).  He started off the day Sunday with three bridies through the first four holes. Weaver finished with five birdies and only one bogey and has been in the top five in the first two tournaments of the year.

Ryan Pamer improves eight strokes from Saturday to Sunday shooting a one under 70.  Pamer finished at a tie for 42nd on the leaderboard and had three birdies on the day.

Joshua Lavely finishes at a tie for 45th shooting a 75 on Sunday and had two birdies. 

PJ O'Rourke improves by nine strokes on Sunday to shoot an even par 71. This helps him climb the leaderboard in day two and finished at a tie for 53rd.

Johnathan Elkins jumps up 11 spots on the leaderboard to a tie for 60th. He improved his game by six strokes, shooting a two over 73.

UP NEXT: The Wildcats have some time off before returning to New York for the Mathews Auto Collegiate on October 1.
