VILLANOVA, Pa.—Five men's tennis student-athletes were recognized as ITA Scholar-Athletes in an announcement made by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) last week. Villanova also earned a team award as an ITA All-Academic Team for the 2022-23 academic year.
The members that were named 2022-23 ITA Scholar-Athletes are sophomore
Trey Fourticq; junior
Eitan Khromchenko; Senior
Will Gatti; junior
Josh Robinson; and junior
Noah Winton.
Student-athletes qualify for Scholar-Athlete recognition by having a GPA of at least 3.5 for the academic year and being listed on their institution's eligibility form. Teams are named to the All-Academic Team by having a team GPA of 3.2 or higher including all varsity letterwinners for the current academic year.
All five Wildcats become two-time ITA Scholar-athletes, receiving this award in 2021-22.
