VILLANOVA, Pa. - Last week, men's golf announced the signing of two new team members, signing the David brothers, 12-year-old Max and nine-year-old Theo, through the organization Team IMPACT.  
 
Max and Theo David officially signed with the team in the Jake and Joe Moran Golf Performance Center. They will participate in many activities with the Wildcat golf team over the next two years, including games, practices, and other team events.  
 
Team IMPACT, a national non-profit organization, has developed a unique multiyear program that matches children facing serious illness and disability with college athletic teams across the country. Based on a clinical model, Team IMPACT guides a symbiotic relationship between teams and children focused on socialization, empowerment, and resilience.  
 
Villanova currently has five matches with Team IMPACT, including football, track and field, swim and dive, men's lacrosse, and now golf. They have had has worked with Team IMPACT since 2013, matching 18 children across its 24 varsity sports and dance.   
 
"We're so excited to sign Theo and Max David to our team," coach James Wilkes remarked. "Their resilience and attitude are such an inspiration. I would like to give a huge shoutout to Team Impact for including us in the recruiting process and signing day."
