WEST PALM BEACH, FL. — Villanova wrapped up BIG EAST match play with a 4-3 loss to St. John's.
Peter Weaver took on St. John's freshman Thomas Finn. After trailing for most of the match by one, Weaver tied the match after 14 holes. Finn would be able to pull away however, winning the match (2&1). Weaver finished the three round event third among all golfers in birdies (14).
Ryan Pamer fell to Pei Chen (3&1). Pamer finished the event eighth in birdies among all golfers with 11.
Joshua Lavely lost to Ryan Rittberger (3&1).
Vimal Alokam picked up the victory over Erik Stevens (5&4).
PJ O'Rourke fell in battle to David Mlynek (2&1). O'Rourke is one of two Wildcats to finish the event with an eagle.
Peter Barros won against Jack Breutsch (5&4). Barros joins O'Rourke as one of 18 golfers to record an eagle over the three rounds.
Jackson Lehner picked up a second victory of the event defeating Thomas Stafford (4&2)
