NEW YORK, N.Y. – Following his first-place finish at the Wildcat Spring Invitational, Peter Weaver earned his fifth BIG EAST Male Golfer of the Week honors.
 
Weaver earned this award after finishing seven under par at Lulu Country Club to finish first place for the second year in a row.  The senior led the field in total birdies (15) and had the best scoring average on Par 3s with a three under average.

 
Villanova as a team won the Wildcat Spring Invitational for the second year in a row as well.  Peter will lead the Wildcats into postseason play as the team will travel to South Carolina for BIG EAST Championships on April 27-29.
