HARDEEVILLE, SC — Villanova finished day one in a tie for fifth of the BIG EAST Championship. 

As a team, The Wildcats shot 10 over (298) and sit seven strokes back of the leader, Marquette (three-over).

Jackson Lehner
Lehner shot one-under (71) and is in a tie for fifth place. The junior added six birdies in round one, putting him in a tie for first for most birdies among the field.

PJ O'Rourke
O'Rourke is in a tie for 13th after he shot two-over (74) in round one with four birdies.

Jonathan Elkins
The senior shot 76 (four-over) in round one and sits in a tie for 22nd.

Peter Weaver
The senior shot five-over (77) and is tied for 25th place.

Ryan Pamer
Pamer finished the day in 42nd place, shooting eight over on the day.
