HAMILTON, N.Y. –
Ryan Pamer picked up his first individual collegiate victory with a six under finish. Villanova finished in fourth place out of 15 teams with a combined team score of five over at the Alex Lagowitz Memorial Invitational hosted by Colgate University.
The Wildcats finished behind Navy, Seton Hall, and Yale. Navy and Seton Hall tied for first at three under and Yale finished in third at three over.
The team shot one over on the day and had four golfers improve on their round one finish.
Ryan Pamer came into Sunday at five under par and was able to stay on his hot streak. going one under (71). This marks the third time that Pamer has had a top 10 finish at Seven Oaks Golf Course, and this is his second finish in the top three. He was the runner-up in this tournament as a freshman in 2022.
Vibhav Alokam shot one under (71) in round two, helping him propel 17 spots up the leaderboard to finish his first collegiate tournament in 19
th place at two over to finish at two over.
Nathan Marion finished one over (73) in the final round. The sophomore finished tied in 30
th place with a total finish of four over.
Cameron Besaw completed the tournament in 59
th place after finishing two over (74) in round two for a tournament total of eight over. The freshman had a stroke average of 76 in his first tournament.
Matt Zerfass shot three over (75) in round two. After both days, the graduate transfer finished 11 over in 77
th place in his first tournament with the Wildcats.
Joshua Lavely finished the tournament 16 over in a tie for 83
rd. In round two he shot 10 over (82) and added three birdies.

The 'Cats head back up to New York from Sept. 16-17 to play at The Doc Gimmler Red & Black, hosted by St. John's University. That tournament will take place in Farmingdale, N.Y., at Bethpage State Park Golf Course.
