Wildcats Travel to James Madison and Richmond

HARRISONBURG, VA – Villanova Women's swimming and diving will hit the road this weekend as they travel to James Madison and Richmond.
 
The Wildcats will face James Madison on Friday with diving starting at 10 a.m. and swimming starting at 12 p.m. The last time they went head to head was in 2012 where the 'Cats hosted and took down the Dukes 159.50-139.50.
 
On Saturday, the Wildcats will travel to Richmond to compete against the Spiders. The last time Villanova and Richmond competed against each other, it ended in a tie of 150-150. In 2023, Villanova won with a score of 161-139 and in 2022 with a score of 161-120.
 
In last years match up with Richmond, Katie white had a strong performance with a first place finish in the 200 fly, followed by Anna Farley and Arabella Lee in second and third. IN the 100 fly, Lee led another trio with a first place finish, Martina Lonati and Farley followed in second and third.
 
On the diving platform, Michelle Kasulka finished first in the 3 meter and second in the 1 meter.
