Spring Slate Set for Women's Soccer

VILLANOVA, Pa. – Villanova women's soccer head coach Samar Azem unveiled her team's spring schedule on Friday. The Wildcats will play in four matches, two home and two away, along with the City 6 Tournament in Philadelphia.
 
The spring kicks off on Feb. 22 at Higgins Soccer Complex as the 'Cats host Lafayette at 3 p.m. Over a month later, they will host Iona for a 1 p.m. first kick on March 30.

April will be a busy month for Nova as the team plays in four events. The month starts with a trip to Loyola Marymount on April 5. That contest starts at 5 p.m. A week later, the team heads into Philly for the City 6 Tournament, this year hosted by Penn. All Philadelphia teams will be present throughout the day. The Wildcats are set to take on Drexel at 10 a.m. and La Salle at 12 p.m. The winners from each bracket will play in the championship match at 1 p.m.

Villanova's final match of the spring sends it to New Jersey to take on Princeton. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. on April 25.
