WESTFIELD, N.J. — The Villanova men's golf team finished tied for sixth after the first round of the Georgetown Intercollegiate at Echo Lake Country Club Monday.
VU shot 307 (+23) on the day. The tournament was shortened to two rounds due to inclement weather, meaning Tuesday's round will round out the now-36-hole affair.
Vibhav Alokam led the way for Villanova, shooting 76 (+5) and landing in 15th place overall.
Brockton English,
Nathan Marion and
Matt Zerfass all finished tied for 21st after shooting 77 (+6).
Ryan Pamer rounded out the Wildcats in 46th, shooting 81 (+10) in the first round.
