WESTFIELD, N.J. — The Villanova men's golf team finished fifth overall at the Georgetown Intercollegiate Tuesday.
The Wildcats shot 297 (+13) Tuesday and shot 604 (+36) for the rain-shortened 36-hole tournament.
Vibhav Alokam was VU's top finisher, coming in at 11th after shooting 150 (+8) at Echo Lake. Alokam shot 74 (+3) in the second round with the highlight of the round being an eagle at hole two.
Matt Zerfass finished 17th, shooting 151 (+9) in the tournament and 74 (+3) Tuesday.
Ryan Pamer followed for Villanova, shooting 153 (+11). Pamer had a solid second round, shooting 72 (+1) for a 29th place finish.
Brockton English shot 154 (+12) and held a score of 77 (+6) in both rounds.
Nathan Marion rounded out the Villanova lineup with a 40th place finish after shooting 156 (+14) total and 79 (+8) Tuesday.
