Glen Cove, N.Y. — The Villanova men's golf team finished the first and second round tied for 9th place at the Nassau Invitational at the Nassau Country Club Monday. 

In the first round VU shot 297 and in the second shot 301 to place the team at 598 (+38) on the day. 

Ryan Pamer shot 146 (+6) and finished tied for 12th through the first two rounds. 

Vibhav Alokam followed after shooting 148 (+8) Monday, placing him tied for 18th. 

Brockton English and Matt Zerfass finished tied for 45th after both shooting 153 (+13).

In his season debut, Ian Love shot 159 (+19), coming in at 61st.

Luke Leonard shot 160 (+20), finishing the day at 62nd. Leonard picked up his first eagle of his career at the 15th hole in round one.
