PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa. — The Villanova men's golf team is set to close its fall slate at the Big 5 Championship Thursday at The 1912 Club in Plymouth Meeting.
Originally scheduled for Oct. 30 at the Union League Liberty Hill course in Lafayette Hill, inclement weather postponed the tournament and forced a relocation.
The Tournament
The formatting for the Big 5 Championship remains the same, as do the competing teams (Villanova, La Salle, Drexel, St. Joseph's (PA), Temple, Penn).
As it has been yearly, the event is a one day, one 18-hole round affair.
The Course
Opened in 1912 as the Plymouth Country Club, The 1912 Club is 6,951 yards with a par of 70. The course was designed by architect William S. Flynn.
