CHICAGO – The Villanova University men's tennis team dropped a road match to DePaul, 4-0, on Friday night (March 21) at Lakeshore Sports/Fitness.
The Wildcats' top two doubles flights each fell, 6-2 and 6-1, respectively. This secured the doubles point for the Blue Demons.
Kush Anand and
Thomas Wakefield were tied with Elias Anwar and Jona Girschel, 3-3, when their match was called.
Three Wildcats fell in straight sets to seal the match in favor of DePaul. Villanova trailed in three matches that were left unfinished.
Up next, the Wildcats will continue their Midwest trip with a match at Marquette on Saturday (March 22) at Solvieri Tennis Complex in Milwaukee.
