MEDIA, Pa - Villanova women's tennis lost 3-4 to Georgetown on Saturday afternoon.

The Hoyas came out strong in doubles, with wins on court one and three. Oliva Corcoran and Jenna Stevens were able to win 6-1 on court two.

Sophia Edwards played in the No.1 spot against Novikov and was able to come out on top 6-2,6-2. Miriam Gondorova went head to head with Gilbert as No.4  and was victorious 7-6,6-3.  

Stevens was the last Wildcat to score in the No.5 slot against Kavarana, finishing 6-4,6-4.

The 'Cats will be back on the main line as they celebrate senior day against Monmouth on Monday at 3pm.
