Pamer Earns PING All-Region Honors

He is the eighth Wildcat during the James Wilkes era to earn the nod

CARLSBAD, Calif. – Junior golfer Ryan Pamer was named an NCAA Division I PING All-Region athlete, as voted on by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).

Pamer is the first Wildcat to earn this honor since Peter Weaver did so back in 2022.

Eight golfers under head coach James Wilkes have now received this nod from the national organization. They include Weaver, Andy Butler, Michael Kania (2x), Brian Colbert (2x), Steve Skurla, Brendan Kelly (2x), and Conor Casey.

He is one of seven BIG EAST golfers to be named to the list, which includes student-athletes from 82 different schools.

In 2024-25, Pamer notched two wins and four top 10 finishes while also ending events in the top 20 seven times out of his 11 events.

Both victories came in the fall semester, as he took first in the Alex Lagowitz Memorial hosted by Colgate University and the BIG 5 Championship. He tied the program record with two individual wins in a season.

In addition to this honor, Pamer was also named to the All-BIG EAST Second Team for the second time in his career.
