WETHERSFIELD, Conn. — The Villanova men's golf team continues its fall slate of tournaments at the Ryan T. Lee Memorial in Wethersfield, Connecticut Monday.
The Wildcats are coming off a successful Alex Lagowitz Memorial Sept. 6-7 where it tied for third to open the season.
The Event
An annual event hosted by the Ryan T. Lee Foundation, the tournament of the same name takes place at the Wethersfield Country Club.
This year's tournament consists of 15 teams from the northeast region of the country. The tournament will be 36 holes being split between 18 holes Monday and Tuesday.
VU returns to the Ryan T. Lee Memorial after finishing 8th in the 2023 edition of the tournament.
The Course
Wethersfield Country Club is a 6,592 yard course and has a par of 71.
The course was completed in 1916 and has seen winners such as Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer in its 109 year history.
Wildcats Lineup
Ryan Pamer tees off first, coming off a 5th place finish at the Alex Lagowitz Memorial.
Matt Zerfass follows after a strong final day at the Alex Lagowitz Memorial gave him an eighth place finish.
Vibhav Alokam sits in the third spot off the tee as the sophomore looks to build on what was a solid second round at the Alex Lagowitz Memorial.
Brockton English hits fourth off the tee after a consistent showing at the Alex Lagowitz Memorial, where he finished 16th.
Luke Leonard rounds out the Wildcats lineup as the freshman continues to gain experience as he prepares for his second collegiate tournament.
