VILLANOVA, Pa. – Villanova Swimming and Diving Head Coach Rick Simpson has announced the 2025-26 schedule, which features 15 head-to-head meets, the Navy Invite, and the Collegiate 5K National Championship ahead of the BIG EAST Championships in February.

The men's team will open the season on the road at NJIT on Oct. 11, while the women begin competition on Oct. 17 at Seton Hall. The following day, the women travel to Storrs, Connecticut, to face UConn.

This season, the Wildcats will host six meets at the Villanova Swim Complex. Both the men's and women's squads will welcome La Salle, while Rider visits for a men's meet and Richmond and James Madison travel to face the women's team.

Other road contests include matchups against Georgetown, Penn (women), Providence (men), Pittsburgh, West Virginia, and Drexel (men). The team will also compete in the Navy Invite, held Nov. 20-22.

Select qualifiers will compete at the Collegiate 5K National Championship on Dec. 13 in Sarasota, Florida. The Wildcats return from winter break with a travel meet Jan. 6-8 against Florida State and North Florida.

Villanova will host Sprintfest '26 on Jan. 31, which will also serve as the program's Senior Day celebration.

The 2026 BIG EAST Swimming and Diving Championships will be held Feb. 18-21 in Ocala, Florida. Last season, Villanova featured 23 BIG EAST performers. The women captured their 12th consecutive BIG EAST title and 17th overall, while the men finished fourth.
