WETHERSFIELD, Conn. — The Villanova men's golf team wrapped up the Ryan T. Lee Memorial Collegiate Tuesday, finishing fourth as a team at the Wethersfield Country Club. 

The Wildcats shot 579 (+11) in the tournament, improving by nine strokes in round two to elevate four spots. 

Ryan Pamer shot 140 (-2) in Wethersfield to clinch a tie for a third place finish. Pamer improved from round one, where he shot even Monday, to shoot 69 (-2) Tuesday. 

Pamer birdied at holes one, two, four and 14 en route to his second consecutive top five finish. 

Brockton English tied for 13th after shooting 70 (-1) Tuesday to pick up a final score of 144 (+2). English's solid day was highlighted by two eagles at holes two and 15. 

Matt Zerfass improved Tuesday, shooting 71 (E) to round out his week tied for 21st. Zerfass picked up birdies at holes six and seven. 

Vibhav Alokam finished tied for 28th after shooting 148 (+6) in the tournament and 75 (+4) on the day. The sophomore birdied five times at holes two, seven, 13, 14 and 18. 

Luke Leonard finished his second collegiate tournament in a tie for 62nd after shooting 156 (+14) across both days and 77 (+6) Tuesday. Leonard birdied the first hole. 

Next, VU travels up to Hampden, Mass. Sunday to compete at the UConn Invitational at GreatHorse at the GreatHorse Golf Course.
