VILLANOVA, Pa. — The Villanova men's golf team announced its 2026 spring schedule Wednesday.
The Wildcats finished their fall schedule with high momentum, winning the Big 5 Invitational Nov. 6. Senior
Matt Zerfass captured his first career win in the tournament.
Villanova starts its spring slate with a trip down to Savannah, Ga. Feb. 21-22 to compete at the Savannah Intercollegiate at The Club at Savannah Harbor.
VU stays in Georgia for the Western Carolina-hosted People's Championship March 12-14 at St. Simon's Island. The 54-hole event will be hosted at The Club at Sea Palms.
Villanova finished 4th out of 20 at last season's People's Championship.
The 'Cats then return to the Golden Horseshoe hosted by William & Mary in Williamsburg,Va. March 23-24 at the Golden Horseshoe Golf Club, where they finished tied for 5th last season.
VU then heads to Galloway, N.J. to host the Wildcat/Fazio Invite at the Galloway National Golf Course April 6-7.
Villanova rounds out its regular season slate with a trip to Bridgeport, W.Va. to compete in the West Virginia Invite at the Pete Dye Golf Club.
The BIG EAST Championship will take place at the Riverton Pointe Golf and Country Club in Hardeeville, S.C. from May 2-4.
The 'Cats finished tied for fourth in last season's BIG EAST tournament.
