VILLANOVA, Pa. – Alana Leen has been named the BIG EAST Female Athlete of the Week after standout performances against Richmond and James Madison last week.

The sophomore from Arlington, Mass. recorded five individual victories in the Villanova defeats against Richmond (168-132) and James Madison (186-113).

Leen posted top times in the 100 Back (57.11) and 200 Back (2:01.88) against Richmond, then followed up with wins against the Dukes in the 100 Back (56.96), 200 Back (2:01.88), and 200 IM (2:06.52).
