SAVANNAH, Ga. — The Villanova golf team finished ninth at the Savannah Intercollegiate Sunday.
In 11th place after the first two rounds Saturday, the 'Cats elevated two places for a top-10 finish after the third and final round. VU shot 303 (+15) on the day and 900 (+36) in the tournament.
Ryan Pamer and
Matt Zerfass led the way for the 'Cats, both shooting 224 (+8) in the tournament and finishing tied for 25th.
Brockton English followed for Villanova, shooting 225 (+9) to finish tied for 28th.
Vibhav Alokam shot 227 (+11) to finish tied for 38th.
Joshua Lavely led VU's individual competitors, finishing tied for 42nd after shooting 228 (+12).

VU returns to Georgia March 12-14, heading to St. Simon's Island to play in the People's Championship hosted by Western Carolina.
