ST. SIMON'S ISLAND, Ga. — The Villanova golf team finished day two tied for fifth place at the Peoples Championship at The Club at Sea Palms Friday. 

The 'Cats shot 279 (+6) in the round and are shooting 569 (+1) in the tournament. 

Matt Zerfass led the way for Villanova, shooting 70 (-1) Friday and is now shooting 138 (-4) in the tournament. Zerfass sits tied for sixth. 

Ryan Pamer shot 72 (+1) on the day and 139 (-3) overall. Pamer is tied for 10th. 

Vibhav Alokam is tied for 43rd, shooting 72 (+3) in the second round and 145 (+3) in the tournament. 

Brockton English shot 76 (+5) Friday and is shooting 147 (+5) overall. English is tied for 58th. 

Joshua Lavely shot 78 (+7) on the day and is shooting 152 (+10) in the tournament, good for 95th. 

Golfing as an individual, Peter Barros shot 81 (+10) Friday and  is shooting 157 (+15) in the tournament.
