WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — The Villanova golf team finished third after the first two rounds at the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate Monday.
The 'Cats shot 574 (+6) overall after shooting 285 (+6) in the first round and 289 (+5) in the second round.
Matt Zerfass and
Ryan Pamer led the way for VU, both shooting 141 (-1) on the day to finish tied for sixth.
Brockton English finished tied for 26th after a 145 (+3) day. '
Vibhav Alokam closed the first two rounds tied for 34th. Alokam shot 147 (+5).
Nathan Marion rounded out the 'Cats lineup, shooting 149 (+7) to finish tied for 39th.
Golfing as an individual,
Luke Leonard finished tied for 62nd after shooting 154 (+12) on the day.
The Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate closes Tuesday with the final 18.
