WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — Matt Zerfass took his second career victory at the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate Monday as the Villanova golf team finished second overall in the event. 

Zerfass' win is his first spring win, and his 67 (-4) final round score was the best of his career. The senior tied with Navy's Jack Tarzy, with both garnishing champion honors for the tournament. 

Zerfass led the way for the 'Cats, shooting 208 (-5) in the two-day tournament. 

Ryan Pamer followed, finishing tied for ninth after a 214 (+1) at Golden Horseshoe. Pamer shot 73 (+2) Monday. 

Vibhav Alokam finished tied for 26th, shooting 219 (+6) overall and 72 (+1) in the final round.

Brockton English tied for 33rd after the third round saw him shoot 77 (+6) and bring his score to 222 (+9) overall. 

Nathan Marion shot 227 (+14) overall and came in tied for 46th. Marion shot 78 (+7) Monday.

Golfing as an individual, Luke Leonard finished 61st, shooting 232 (+19) and 78 (+7) in the third round.
