VILLANOVA, Pa. – The Wildcats faced off in eight head-to-head matchups across five sports last week. Field Hockey continued to dominate the non-conference schedule, outscoring their opponents 11-0 in two shutout wins. Volleyball picked up their first shutout victory of the season at the American Tournament, and Women's Soccer added their sixth clean sheet of 2026 against Bucknell. Field Hockey
Ava Borkowski
Graduate Student/Forward/Conshohocken, Pa.

Borkowski was a powerful offensive force to help lift Villanova over Lehigh and Queens. She scored four goals in the 9-0 Wildcat win over Queens University, a new career high. Borkowski came out scorching, scoring twice in the first six minutes of the game. She scored again in the second quarter to achieve the third hat trick of her career. Her fourth and final goal came three minutes into the second half, where she took advantage of a breakaway opportunity to score Villanova's eighth goal of the day. In the Wildcats' win over Lehigh, she put the pressure on the Mountain Hawks goalkeeper by launching six shots on goal.

Pat McQuaide
Graduate Student/Quarterback/Solon, Ohio

McQuaide threw for 166 yards and a touchdown on 18-of-31 passing against Louisville. He led a 12-play, 58-yard drive to begin the game, resulting in a Dominic LeBlanc field goal to tie the game at three. The highlight of his performance was connecting with Ja'briel Mace for a 65-yard touchdown to open the second quarter.
Men's Soccer
Brody Crampton
Sophomore/Defense/Orlando, Fla.

Crampton was one of Villanova's leading scorers for the week, netting one goal against George Washington. He scored the first of two Villanova goals in Sunday's match, kickstarting the late-game Wildcat comeback attempt. In the 82nd minute, Crampton connected with a corner kick from Bar Netanel to head the ball into the goal.

Women's Soccer
Hannah Dickinson
Graduate Student/Goalkeeper/Seattle, Wash.

Dickinson was Villanova's defensive anchor against Bucknell, tallying yet another clean sheet. She has yet to allow a goal this season in six straight scoreless games, four of which she played for all 90 minutes. Dickinson now has 18 shutouts in her Villanova career, giving her the fourth-most in program history. She faced seven shots from the Bison, saving the two that were on target.

Volleyball
Taylor Lewis
Junior/Outside Hitter/Indianapolis, Ind.
Â
Lewis was Villanova's offensive engine at the American Tournament, leading the Wildcats in kills in both matches. She swung a match-best .458 attack percentage to rack up 13 kills in Villanova's win over American. She was a clutch scorer, scoring the final or penultimate point in each of the three sets to sweep the host team. Lewis also executed nine kills with one assist against Iowa State.
