VILLANOVA, Pa. — The Villanova softball program, under head coach Bridget Orchard entering her ninth season at the helm, has announced its 2026 fall schedule. 

The 'Cats will begin their fall ball schedule with two intersquad scrimmages on September 12 and 13, both at 10 a.m. from the Villanova Softball Complex. Fans are welcome to attend both of these events. 

The team will then hit the road for their first away contest against Binghamton on September 19 at 2 p.m. The matchup with the Bearcats will be held at the Bearcats Softball Complex. 

Villanova will then return home for its third intersquad Scrimmage on September 26 at 9 a.m. before hosting two games against St. Joseph's and East Stroudsburg. 

The contest with the Hawks will take place on September 27 at 12 p.m. while the matchup with the Warriors will be on October 3 at 12 p.m. as well. 

VU follows the three-game home stand with a trip to Branch Brook Park in Newark, N.J. for a double-header on October 4 against Long Island University and Manhattan. The opener against the Sharks will start at 2 p.m. while the contest with the Jaspers starts at 4 p.m. Both matchups will celebrate New Jersey Pride College Day. 

The Wildcats will finish their road schedule against Delaware on October 23 at 7 p.m. followed by the Fall Ball Season finale with a home matchup against Lehigh on October 24 at 10:30 a.m.
