Veteran member of the Villanova sprint group who has excelled in the 400 meters, the 400 meter hurdles and the 4x400 meter relay ... Qualified for the final of the 400 meter hurdles at the BIG EAST Championships every year from 2021-24 and placed as high as second in 2022 ... Owns career All-BIG EAST honors in the 400 meter hurdles outdoors and the 400 meters indoors, earning a bronze medal in the latter event in 2024 ... Overall he is a six-time All-BIG EAST performer and a 14-time BIG EAST scorer counting individual events and relays ... Three-time selection to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team and seven-time member of the Athletic Director's Honor Roll.

BEFORE VILLANOVA

Jackson Memorial High School: Earned four varsity letters in outdoor track & field and three varsity letters indoors … Also competed for the cross country and soccer teams … Three-time New Balance Nationals qualifier … As a senior earned All-America honors and was a Millrose Games champion in the 4x400 meter relay … They formed part of a squad which posted the sixth-fastest time in the country (3:20.98) during the 2020 indoor season … The relay team earned all-state, all-county and all-conference accolades … Qualifier for both the 4x200 and the 4x400 relays as a senior indoors … As a junior outdoors in 2019 ran in the Emerging Elite division of the Swedish Relay and the championship division of the shuttle hurdle relay … As a junior indoors ran in the championship sections of the 4x400 relay and the shuttle hurdle relay in addition to competing in the Emerging Elite section of the 4x200 relay … Was the Ocean County champion in the 110 meter hurdles and the 4x400 meter relay as a junior outdoors … Earned first team All-Shore track honors in the 4x400 relay as a senior … School record holder in the 300 meters (36.30) and the 4x400 meter relay (3:20.98) … Inducted to the National Honor Society, the National Science Honor Society and the National Mathematics Honor Roll Society … Achieved High Honor Roll status academically all four years.
 
Personal: Lives in Cream Ridge, N.J. … Oldest of three children and the only son of Andrew and Sharon Mollica … Has two younger sisters, Alexandra (21) and Amanda (19) … Enjoys spending time with friends, fishing, boating, traveling and playing video games … Chose to attend Villanova for its strong academic reputation and the competitive track & field program … Plans to major in Computer Engineering.
