Athletic Director's Honor Roll	Fall 2021

Career: Contributed on the field as a freshman last season with four pinch hits during the year … Gave the Wildcats a steady right-handed bat off the bench … Versatile athlete who played three scholastic sports (softball, basketball, soccer) before coming to Villanova … Was named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the Fall 2021 semester.
 
2022: Got her first taste of collegiate competition in 16 games played as a freshman … Had a consistent role as a right-handed bat off the bench … Started once as the offensive player against Princeton, while the rest of her appearances on the year were pinch-hitting assignments … Had four hits and a walk in 16 plate appearances and hit .267 (4-for-15) with one run batted in and five strikeouts … Reached base safely in five of her last 10 plate appearances … That stretch began with drawing a walk in the first game of a three-game sweep of Seton Hall … In the final game of that series she delivered an RBI single for her first collegiate hit … Had pinch-hit singles against DePaul, Georgetown and Creighton … Singled with nobody out in the fifth inning against Creighton as part of a three-run rally which started a Villanova comeback from a 5-1 deficit (the Wildcats eventually scored nine unanswered runs to win 10-5).
 
Maine-Endwell High School: Earned a total of 11 varsity letters during her scholastic career, including five in softball and three each in basketball and soccer … Earned second team all-state honors in softball … Nine-time Scholar-Athlete honoree.
 
Personal: Born 1/27/03 in Binghamton, N.Y. … One of five children of Jim and Kim DeSantis … Has four siblings: Madison (23), AJ (21), Adam (17) and Noah (10) … Brother, AJ, played college football at Colgate … Enjoys working out and playing basketball in her spare time … Chose to attend Villanova for its academic and athletic reputations and because she felt that it was the best school for herself and anyone interested in excelling throughout their entire lives … Plans to major in Comprehensive Science.
