2023: Played in 29 of the team’s 33 games in her final season … Led the ‘Cats with 48 assists, marking the eighth-most in a single season in team history … Added on 43 goals on 105 shot attempts for the second-most points on the year at 91 … Went 39-20 on sprints … Closed her career at fifth in assists (116) and 10th for exclusions drawn (88) in team history … Tallied a season-high five assists on two occasions – in a five assist, one goal outing in the win over Mercyhurst on Feb. 4 and again on March 3 with a goal and five helpers in the win over Cal Lutheran … Recorded 12 multi-goal games with a season-high four net movers scored in wins over Occidental on March 3 and Westcliff on March 11.
2022: Proved to be a leader for the Wildcats on both the offense and defense … Scored the fourth-most points on the team with 65, marking a career-high … Netted 25 goals and a career-high 40 assists … Was the most efficient sprinter on the team, winning 58 of her 69 sprints for a .841 clip … Those 58 winning sprints marked the second-most in a season in program history … Drew 32 exclusions and stole the ball 23 times … Added on seven blocks … Had a season-high three goals against Chapman on March 4 … Scored a season-best five points against McKendree on February 20, tallying a goal and four assists.
2021: Emerged as one of the focal points of the Villanova offense during her sophomore campaign … Tied for second on the team with 27 goals scored while also finishing second on the squad with 20 assists and 47 points … Her 63 shots were third-most on the team and she recorded a .429 shot percentage … Led the team with 17 exclusions drawn to go along with 10 steals and one block … Went 18-of-23 in sprints … Got off to a strong start to the year and tallied four goals in a 13-12 win over Saint Francis in the season opener on March 6 … Had two goals and three assists versus Salem during the opening weekend and later had three goals in a second meeting against Salem … Helped the Wildcats tally a 12-10 win over Gannon on March 14 with four goals, one assist and five exclusions drawn … Recorded two goals and three assists in a win over Siena on April 18.
2020: Recorded five goals, eight assists and 13 points during an abbreviated scheduled of 18 matches during her collegiate debut season … Fired 20 shots and had a .250 shot percentage … Drew 15 kickouts, had six steals and was credited with one field block … Won 29 sprints … Registered her first point of the season with an assist against Salem in the third match of the year … Scored her first collegiate goal and added an assist, a steal and four kickouts drawn versus Pomona Pitzer … Had a goal and an assist in a win over Mercyhurst, as well as two assists in a win over Chapman.
Club Water Polo: Competed for both West Houston WPC and Southside WPC from 2016-2019 … Traveled to the Junior Olympics with both clubs … Played at the ODP National Championships with the Southwest zone youth team in 2018.
Friendswood High School: Earned a total of eight varsity letters during her scholastic career, including four each in water polo and swimming … Four-year varsity starter in water polo and was a two-year team captain as a junior and a senior in both water polo and swimming … Three-time first team all-region honoree in water polo and was her team’s MVP her junior and senior years … Led her team to its first-ever state tournament appearance as a senior … Three-time qualifier for the Texas state swim meet … Earned first team all-state accolades as a senior and led her team to a Texas 5A third place finish … Was part of a school record performance in the 4x100 freestyle relay … Earned USA Water Polo and NHSCA Academic All-America honors … Compiled a 4.0 GPA all four years, was an AP Scholar with Distinction and graduated in the top five percent of her class … Was a drum major in the school’s marching band and played oboe in the wind ensemble.
Personal: Born 5/15/01 in Friendswood, Texas … One of three daughters of Chris Hansen and Sheri Blossom … Has two sisters, Kyle (24) and Nickie (17) … Father was a collegiate track & field runner at UC Irvine and competed in the 400 meters … Enjoys volunteering, playing spikeball and spending time with her dog – Liberty – in her spare time … Mechanical Engineering major.
