Career: Has competed in seven events with the Wildcats … Earned a spot on the CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll and the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for three semesters.
 
2021-22: Hit the water for two events during the year … Helped the Varsity Four to a second-place time of 9:07.1 against Drexel … Part of the Women’s Championship Eights crew that posted a 16^th-place 13:02.816 at the Head of the Schuylkill.
 
2020-21: Was a member of the varsity eight boat for the duration of her freshman season and rowed in the 3-seat for the majority of the season … After beginning the season with an exhibition against Drexel, the varsity eight squad opened competition with a first place finish in a dual against Delaware … The team recorded a time of 7:10.8 and tallied a two-second margin of victory over the Blue Hens … Helped the V8 squad win its heat by 2.1 seconds over Temple and Jefferson with a time of 6:40.3 at the Kerr Cup … Villanova came in second at George Mason in both the heats (6:44.0) and the grand final (6:47.1) … The team finished second in their heat at the Kelly Cup in 6:58.9 and qualified for the A final where they finished fourth overall in 7:02.6 … The varsity eight squad recorded a time of 6:50.47 and finished fifth at the CAA Championship.
 
Club Rowing: Competed with Community Rowing, Inc. and was part of a team that won the Petite Final at the NEIRA Championships and finished sixth at the USRowing Club Nationals in the Women’s U17 8+ division in 2018 … Earned an invite to the USRowing Olympic Development Team in 2019 and a silver medal in the U18 8+ competition.
 
Shrewsbury High School: Earned a total of seven varsity letters, including one for both Fall and Spring crew her freshman year … Team captain as a senior … Winner of the Barbara Burns Caron Award for dedication and excellence in crew her senior year … Achieved Highest Honors academically on the school’s Honor Roll … Four-year Class Secretary … Inducted to the National Honor Society and was Vice President of the National Latin Honor Society as a senior … Winner of the Citizenship Award for Leadership her senior year.
 
Personal: Born 2/3/02 in Somerville N.J. … Oldest of three children of Steve and Maryellen Urbanik … Has two younger siblings, Michael (16) and Natalie (16) … Grandfather, John Urbanik, played college basketball at Maryland and uncle, Bob Urbanik, played college basketball at Rider … Hobbies include cooking as well as making and editing videos … Chose to attend Villanova for its sense of community, the support systems for student-athletes and for the reputation of the Villanova School of Business … Enrolled in the Villanova School of Business and plans to major in Business.
