Career: Veteran member of the team who has competed 19 times during her collegiate career and has been a regular part of the lineup in the second varsity eight and varsity four boats … Landed All-CAA Team and CRCA Scholar-Athlete honors in the 2021-22 season … Named to both the CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll and the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll in all eight semesters of her collegiate career.

2021-22: Named an All-CAA Team selection at the 2022 Championships … Competed in four events, racing with both the Second Varsity Eight and Varsity Four throughout the season … Helped the V4 to be the highest-finishing crew at the CAA Championships, finishing third in 7:41.667 … Made it to the V4 Grand Final at the Mason Invitational for a fourth-place, 8:02.2 finish … Part of the 2V8 that finished second in the dual with Drexel and La Salle, posting a 8:28.1 time … Sat stroke for the 16
th place group that finished the Women’s Club Championship Eights in 14:03.497 at the Head of the Schuylkill.

2020-21: Rowed in the Wildcats second varsity eight boat in either 7-seat or the 6-seat at every competition during the season … After an exhibition against Drexel in the team’s return to the water, Villanova opened the season with a dual against Delaware and posted a time of 7:15.8 to beat the Blue Hens by a margin of 5.4 seconds … One of the other highlights of the year for the second varsity eight squad was finishing in third place with a time of 6:56.42 at the CAA Championships … Villanova came in second in its 2V8 heat at the Kerr Cup with a time of 6:49.4 … The team also won its heat in 6:47.8 at George Mason and came in seven-tenths of a second ahead of Jacksonville in a close finish … Villanova moved on to the grand final at George Mason and came in third in 6:59.7 … At the Kelly Cup the Wildcats tallied a time of 7:01.3 to finish in third place and come in ahead of Penn and Saint Joseph’s in the 2V8 race.

2019-20: Part of the team’s varsity four (stroke) lineup which tallied a 20
th place finish out of 48 teams at the Head of the Schuylkill … Helped the second varsity eight (7-seat) team finish second in competition against UCF and Duquesne at the Metro Cup Regatta.

2018-19: Competed eight times during her freshman season and was part of the Wildcats varsity four and second varsity eight squads … Helped the varsity four boat finish third at the CAA Championship and fourth in the Grand Final at the George Mason Invitational … Villanova also qualified for the Petite Final against strong competition at the Cooper Sprints, went on to finish fourth in the Grand Final at the same site a week later during the Cooper Invitational and tallied a fourth place finish in the final at the Kerr Cup … Helped the second varsity eight squad finish second at both the Rollins Invitational and in competition against Saint Joseph’s and Delaware … Competed in the Collegiate 8 at the Kings Head Regatta.

Club Rowing: Competed for Oakland Strokes Rowing Club for two years and was a member of the novice and varsity teams.

Bishop O’Dowd High School: Two-year member of the cross country and track & field teams … Named the Best Newcomer in both cross country and on the track as a freshman … Qualified for the North Coast Section championships in the 3200 meters as a freshman and was also a state championships qualifier in cross country her freshman year … Winer of the Biology Certification Award as a sophomore and English Certification Awards as a senior.

Personal: Born 4/2/2000 in Livingston, N.J. … Youngest of three children and the only daughter of Andrew and Jacqueline Burke … Has two older brothers, Sean (24) and Colin (24) … Both brothers were track & field and cross country student-athletes in college, Sean at Boston College and Colin at UCLA … Enjoys spending time with her siblings, listening to music and going to the beach in her spare time … Chose to attend Villanova for the school’s community, its academic and athletic excellence, and team spirit … Communication major.
